BowlingTUB has now been confirmed! It will be held at the North Fremantle Centre (@NorthFreoCentre) on Sunday 7 March from 2.00-6.00pm.
Join @freocookster and the PTUB crew for an afternoon of barefoot bowls, live music from ‘Easy Tiger’, fine beverages and a free sausage sizzle in one of the funkiest hangouts south of the river.
Children are more than welcome, so why not make it a family day out?
Everything is free except drinks.
The club is located on Harvest Road in North Fremantle, adjacent to Stirling Hwy, and an easy stroll from the North Fremantle train station.

blokeTUB oh-Ten

Gentlemen of the PTUB! Since the first GirlTUB it has been tradition for the men-folk to have their own gathering and conduct manly activities, sans women. Hence, I declare BlokeTUB Oh-Ten! There will be shootin’, eatin’ and shootin’.
We’ll gather in the Perth Central Train Station and take a limo to our first port of call, Lone Ranges Shooting Complex in Belmont. We’ll fire off a few rounds and then limo it back to Northbridge for a feed at Hogs Breath Cafe. From there we’ll head down the road to the Pot Black. That by no means is the extent of the evening, however, for discretion, all activites thereafter are optional and will be discussed on the evening.
Now to business. It’s the same afternoon as the GirlTUB, 21st of Febuary. We’ll need to be ready for pickup at 2:30pm and be at the Lone Ranges by 3pm. I need numbers as quickly as possible so i can book the limo. It will be $35 per person. You are welcome to drive yourself, if you feel so inclined, and meet us at the Shooting Gallery, but I must have numbers by the 25th of January so we won’t miss out.
As for the Lone Ranges,for $75 you get the training package. It includes a comprehensive training session where you’ll learn how to operate a revolver and a semi-automatic pistol. It also includes 50 rounds of .22LR ammunition, three targets and a complementary casual membership.

GirlTUB Picnic at Heirisson Island

The time has come again for the girls of Twitter (& their non-Twitterati friends) to get together, and we thought, what better way to bring in the new year & take advantage of the beautiful summer weather than a picnic at Heirisson Island off the Causeway?
We’ll each bring our own meat/veg to barbecue, a plate to share (salad, snacks, bread rolls, whatever you feel like bringing!), drinks and picnic blankets to spread out under the sun.
We’ll meet near the barbecue area (there’ll be a twitter update on the day as to exact location of the picnic) at 1pm.
Don’t forget hats & sunscreen!
