PTUB @ the edge of Edge of the Web!

Everybody loves a bit of Afternoon Delight and the folks here at the unofficial PTUB organising committee have decided to offer a bit of Perth’s delicious delights to all out there who love to have a little sweet treat deposited in their mouth.
Thousands* of attendees from all around the world are flying to Perth to attend the Edge of the Web conference which will also host the return of Webjam and the illustrious WA Web Awards. We are inviting all attendees as well as the locals of Perth to join us on a relaxing afternoon tour through Perth’s famous wine country.
After you have recovered from the wild and crazy two days just passed, take your slightly fragile self and drag it to the city. We’ll gladly throw you in the back of the bus and journey towards Perth’s Swan Valley to visit an assortment of wineries and the famous Margaret River Chocolate Factory.
Things you will experience on this afternoon delight:
- Wine tasting at Olive Farm Wines
- Wine tasting and cheeseboard at Edgecombe Brothers Winery
- Wine tasting and nougat tasting at Charlies Estate Wines
- Beer sample and snack basket at Elmars in the Valley Brewery
- Chocolate tastings at Margaret River Chocolate Company
- Delightful company with Australia’s most prolific Twitterers*
Afterwards, you will be chartered back to the wonderful city where you can continue the evening at some of Perth’s best restaurants, journey up to Northbridge to crack open a beer or two at our famous pubs or stumble back home or to the hotel to throw up after “tasting” too many bottles o’ red.

Time: 12:30pm to 5:00pm
Cost: $65 per person
All tasting fees are included within the ticket price; all you need to do is turn up with a smile on your face and enjoy the rest of the afternoon.
