PTUB Saturday – A delicious and enticing event to be shown in three acts.

With the WA Web Week upon us we thought that it was time to pull our finger out and give you lot a breakdown on what exactly is planned for PTUB Saturday. In true PTUB tradition, we wanted to make sure that all involved would be catered for so it was decided that we should all enjoy in the post-EOTW coital-esque afterglow by delivering PTUB Saturday in three equally exciting yet delicious acts.
Everyone is welcome to join us for acts 1 and 3 however if you wish to partake in the second act, please contact @lu_lu or @thatgrumguy NOW to see if seats are still available.
In preparation for the long day we know some of you will be rather fragile from the debaucheries of the night before. Mother dearest always used to say the first step to a brilliant day out is to fill your belly up in a nutritious way.
That’s exactly what we’re going to do:
ACT 1 : BREAKFAST – 10:00 to 12:00
Tiger Tiger Coffee Bar is a favourite amongst the Perth Twitter crew with its great location, great food, great coffee and most importantly – free WiFi!
This little gem nestled deep inside the bowels of the Perth CBD is choc-full of delicious oral pleasures such as nutella and mascarpone cinnamon bagels, oven-roasted field mushrooms with Brebirousse cheese and delicious buttery crumpets.
We’ll be heading down to Tiger Tiger at around 10:00 to nom up some delicious treats.

ACT 2 : WINE TOUR – 12:15 to 5:00
After we have stuffed ourselves silly with lots of coffee and treats, we’ll be making our way down to the Wellington St Tourist Coach Stand which is evidently directly in front of the Wellington St Bus Station, which is just west of the Perth Train Station for those who aren’t from this lovely city of Perth.
This is the departure point for the wine tour so all attendees must be at the stand by 12:15 otherwise we will leave without you and tweet bad stuff about you to the rest of the world.
From there we journey towards to the valley where we will be:
* Wine tasting at Lancaster Winery
* Wine tasting and cheeseboard at Edgecombe Brothers Winery
* Wine tasting and nougat tasting at Charlies Winery
* Beer sample and snack basket at Elmars in the Valley Brewery
* Chocolate tastings at Margaret River Chocolate Company
We shall be finishing up at 4:30 where we’ll jump back into the bus to return to the city.
ACT 3 : DINNER, DRINKS, SHITS & GIGGLES – 5:30 to LATE
Depending on how many haven’t passed out from the sheer excitement of the day we will venture into the city in search of dinner and other forms of entertainment. At this stage plans will be fluid depending on the outcome of the day however if you wish to join us, follow @PTUB, @lu_lu and @thatgrumguy on twitter for ongoing updates.
Suggestions for post-PTUB:
* Dinner & drinks at The Belgian Beer Cafe
* Drinks & skydiving from several hundred meters in the air
* A quick round of genuine Absinthe shooters followed by a game of Russian Roulette
* Journey to Northbridge for pasta, clubs n’ pubs
Whatever we end up doing, we intend to do it long and hard into the night.
