Girl’s Night Out – girlTUB #2

After the success and great feedback I got from the last Girl’s Night Out at Zapatas, I thought I’d organise anotherie for those that couldn’t attend the last one and those that need another night out with no stinky boys around :P (Note: not just for Twitterers!)

I’ve chosen Mez Mediterranean Cuisine Restaurant in Northbridge….I was introduced to this little gem by Twitter sweetie fruityalexia, and realised it would be the perfect location this time around.

They put on a “house special” for groups of 2-100: for $40 a head we get a constant stream of Mediterranean cuisine tasting plates which are shared by everyone at the table.

The feast will begin with dips, served with hot pitta bread, haloumi cheese, grilled sausage, and antipasto nibbles & salad. Seafood, done a variety of ways – may include king prawns, calamari, baby octopus, scallops, mussels with risotto. A selection of meats then follows, including chicken and their speciality, Lamb Kleftiko & potatoes.

Complimentary Sweets & Coffee/Tea are included.

It’s BYO (wine only) with $1.50 corkage per person, and they also have an extensive wine/beer/spirit list as well as $15 cocktails.

As per the last one, we will no doubt be heading out somewhere else in Northbridge for dancing and a few more drinks (possibly Harry’s Bar on Francis Street), but you’re welcome to leave after dinner if you prefer.
